Corpus Christie College is another client to install a Clipsal Datacomms Cat5E RJ solution. The new multipurpose building has been constructed to house MAC desktops, PC Lab, IT Support team and some of the Teaching body. With technology pushing for higher speeds and greater bandwidth requirements Mr Peter Stewart has implemented “Best of Breed” policy choosing to use Clipsal, Enterasys & Professional Cabling Services for his new building. The Enterasys R3000 Wireless Base Stations are installed to provide mobility within the building and V2 Layer 3, 10/100 Switches with a Gigabit backbone to support the 200 + RJ45 Outlets.

Professional Cabling Services installed the 200+ RJ45 Network outlets to maximise the aesthetics and practicality of the solution. Where Wireless Base stations are installed the Network points have been placed behind bulkheads and in the floor boxes provided. Mr Richard Holland from PCS stated that the product made the install easier with it’s built in cable management and direct insertion to standard faceplates with out the need to use bezels or adaptors.
